Employment and Volunteering

Most students take part in opportunities where they will gain real experience of a work environment. Work placements can be on site at Trinity Specialist College working in the kitchen, the office, or helping with ground maintenance; and they can be off-site working with one of our employer partners. Students may participate in a range of activities during their first year to identify skills and talents, complete regular work experience or volunteering in the second year, and Supported Internships/ Apprenticeships are currently being developed for the third year.

In addition to work placements, individuals also have an opportunity to build or video their Curriculum Vitae, practice communication skills when applying for jobs, participate in interviews, volunteering, taster sessions and work trials.
